About Me

Growing up among people from diverse cultural backgrounds has always been very interesting and fascinating for me. Born to a Bodo mother and a Malayalee father in the beautiful and luscious hills of Shillong, Meghalaya, India, also known as ‘Scotland of the East’, I have always been very keen in knowing about different cultures and their cuisines. My favourite TV show while growing up has always been Master Chef Australia. The way food can be romanticised and how it has the power to make everyone happy has always been something that I wanted to know more about and explore. From doing my schooling in the Northeast to completing my masters in Bangalore and knowing more about food, I want to embark in a journey of discovering more about food, how food is bound by tradition and connected to different cultures. So, in this blog I am going to share my experiences with different kinds of food, different cuisines and culture.
