Crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, these easy-to-bake chocolate crinkles are definitely what you need to make your day. Here is my recipe for melt-in-the-mouth chocolate crinkles!
Ingredients:
2 cups of all-purpose flour
¼ cup of cocoa powder
1 ½ cup caster sugar
2 tsp baking powder
3 eggs
Method:
1.Mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and 1 cup of caster sugar well in a bowl.
2.Add eggs to the mix, one at a time.
3.Let this rest overnight in the refrigerator.
4.The next day, take the mixture out of the fridge and scoop out one tablespoon of it and make it into a ball. Do this for the rest of the mixture.
5.Pre-heat the oven at 180̊C.
6.Roll the balls in the remaining caster sugar. Make sure to coat the balls properly in caster sugar.
7.Place these balls in a baking tray covered with baking paper and put it into the oven.
8.Bake the crinkles for 10 min, once they have risen.
9.Enjoy the chocolate crinkles when hot with a cup of coffee!
